Tendonitis

Tendonitis may also be referred to as Tendinopathy, Tendinitis, or Tendonosis.  A tendon is the structure that attaches a muscle to the bone that it moves.  Repetetive or high impact/loading activities of a muscle can lead to irritation and inflammation of it's tendon.  Common tendonopathies include; Achilles tendonitis, Patella tendonitis, rotator cuff tendonitis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfers elbow), and wrist tendonitis.
