Joint & Muscle pain

Arthritis

Arthritis is a term used to describe a number of different disorders that cause joint problems.  The most common types of arthritis include Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosising Spondylitis, Gout, Osteoporosis and Psoriatic Arthritis.

Arthritis can cause pain, inflammation, swelling and instability in your joints.  Medication is often required to reduce the pain and inflammation in the effected joints.  Physiotherapy helps to restore the strength of the muscles that support the joint and the flexibility of the joint, enabling you to maintain normal mobility and function.
