Joint & Muscle pain

Muscle pain can be caused by overuse, injury or stress.  Sometimes muscle pain can be associated with nerve irritation at the back or neck, so it is important to get it thoroughly assessed by an experienced physiotherapist.  Joint pain may be the result of arthritic changes but can also occur with muscle imbalance problems, repetetive overuse and poor posture.

At BP Physio we have skilled physiotherapists who use a number of different techniques to improve your muscle length, strength and control, to reduce your muscle pain and improve the stability of painful joints.  We also have an experienced Sports Massage Therapist who can help you to keep your muscles supple and avoid the inevitable tightness and muscle pain associated with sports activities and repetitive work postures.
